Vancouver, BC – On December 19, 2015, NewsInsideOut.com went deep underground to investigate Vancouver’s local artisanal vegan pop-up restaurant scene. We sat down for a Winter Holiday Feast where local vegans and foodavores sang praises over a 2014 documentary titled “Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret”. Service took place in two rooms hosted by self-described “Nerd level Vegan” David Isbister at a secret inner-city location offering a varied and original menu including handmade vegan takes on classic holiday dishes and harvest soul foods.

  1. Sorry, but there were CHEX in that dish – out of a package!!!! They may have been OK when we were kids, but now all corn, wheat, soy……………….is GMO…………………..why put a packaged fake “phude” in your meal just because it”s “vegan”?? The photos did make me hungry though……………..cheers!
