Vancouver, BC – The Senate Intelligence Committee report on CIA torture made public Tuesday, December 9, 2014, is the topic of a live streaming broadcast to air Friday, December 12, 2014, starting at 6:30 p.m. PST/9:30 p.m. EST. “CIA Torture: American Heroes or Sadistic Psychopaths? You Decide!” will feature a special appearance by Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal Judge Alfred Lambremont Webre, JD, MEd, who will offer commentary and take questions from the audience. This program marks the first of a series of live broadcasts produced for NewsInsideOut.com furthering its mission to deconstruct memes propagated as news in mainstream media.
A 525-page redacted summary of the Senate committee’s study is now available online for worldwide review and academic inquiry into one of the key ethics, transparency and public accountability issues that marked the United States’ entry into the twenty-first century. In anticipation of its release both former United States President George W. Bush and former Vice President Dick Cheney recently defended CIA interrogation programs whose extreme practices were found to have made no meaningful contribution to counterterrorism activities while diminishing access to freedom and democracy for people around the world.
In the words of convicted war criminal former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld, such dead-ender extremist viewpoints deepen the sense of depravity within a Bush administration under whom CIA interrogators engaged in medical torture including “rectal feeding” and “rectal rehydration” as well as sleep deprivation and waterboarding. Further debasing fundamental social values and human rights in America local police forces are now reportedly enforcing colonoscopies upon members of the public suspected of committing traffic infractions. Society has evidently “misunderestimated” the trickle-down implications of its handlers’ fitness for duty in a security-obsessed culture seeking “total control over the detainee.”
The New York Times states the Central Intelligence Agency cited a “yearslong conspiracy” within its leadership (including three former directors) that accommodates the committee’s conclusions. According to Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Chairwoman Senator Dianne Feinstein, “The major lesson of this report is that regardless of the pressures and the need to act, the Intelligence Community’s actions must always reflect who we are as a nation, and adhere to our laws and standards.” According to President Obama’s remarks reported from August, the “character of our country has to be measured in part not by what we do when things are easy but what we do when things are hard.”
The torture of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed in which waterboarding allegedly occurred on 183 occasions is said by the report to have induced more than one instance of “near-drowning.” Repeated choking followed by immediate resuscitation of victims is understood by researchers as a means of trauma-based personality disintegration used in the formation of alters tasked with criminal missions under non-official cover. That more than 100 former Guantanamo Bay prisoners returned to combat after their release portrays the notorious torture camp in light of a re-indoctrination center for proxy operatives to further destabilization of democratically-elected governments and prolong for-profit regional conflicts.
